Introduction
The image resizing tab holds everything needed for resizing your images. You can disable resizing, switch between timthumb and wordpress resizing, and even set the image dimensions for your blog and portfolio images.
You no longer have to create and resize thumbnails, let the software do it for you.

Disable dynamic image resizing
Check this to completely disable image resizing on your site. Images will display in the dimensions as they are uploaded when you use this option.

Timthumb or built in image resizing
Select whether you would like to use the Timthumb resize script or built in image resizing. Timthumb will be selected by default and is recommended to use.

Automatic image thumbs
By default, features such as the portfolio and blog will use the “featured image” in your posts.

Check this if you wish to use the first image uploaded to your post instead of the featured image. You can still change the featured images later even if you have this option checked.
Image sizes
When using the portfolio and blog shortcodes you will notice that the image thumbnails are resized to a specific dimension. You can change the width and height of these dimensions here.
For instance the portfolio images in a three column layout have a landscape aspect ratio. In case you wanted to make it more of a portrait display then you can increase the height and your images will be resized accordingly.

You can change the sizes depending on the layout as well. For instance if your thumbnails were the same size in a sidebar and full width layout then they would be kind of cramped. You can adjust them to your own personal style by clicking on the relevant layout. When clicking on one of the three layouts you will see the image dimensions where you can change..
